Setting Up Taranis X9D+ TBS Crossfire / Nano and R9M/ R9MM
In an effort to help assist my customers with their new X9D+, I have created this video that details the proper steps to setup and update the firmware on your new Taranis X9D+ transmitter as well as how to setup the TBS Crossfire module and Nano Receiver. I have also added to this the entire setup details for the FrSky R9M and R9MM configuration to work with the X9D+.
Please refer to the links below for downloads. I have also added my own folder that I created in this video which contains all the files you need to make this work. You can download my folder or you can use the links that are provided below to download the files and edit them according the the video I have provided.
The entire CardContents folder can be downloaded here. This folder contains the files that you will find in the video and also removes the multiple language files like I did in the video. This reduces the download from 135mb to 16mb. If you prefer to follow the video step by step and download the files and edit them on your own, those links are provided below.
Other files you will need to download are:
- Open-TX.org TX Companion 2.2.3 - click here
- note - when this page opens, scroll all the way to the bottom to find the open-tx companion 2.2.3 links
- TBS Agent X Software Updater - click here
- If you are using the Non-EU (USA Version) of the X9D+, I recommend you download the folder I already created. This contains all the firmware updates you will need for this process and also has the files structured and named properly. If you want to download your own files and arrange them, here are the following links:
- Open-TX SD Card Contents 2.2.3 - click here
- FrSky R9M Module Firmware Updates - click here
- FrSky R9MM Receiver Firmware Updates - click here
Please follow the video step by step in order to complete the firmware updates and setup process. If you have any questions, please email me at tarek@cyclonefpv.com
