FrSky R9MM with SPort and Sbus and RSSI and Telemetry on F4 FC

(please hang in there. I just put this together about 20 mins ago and am off to see my son play football. I will update this page when I return tonight 09-17-19)

Follow these steps and you will be set...

  1. Connect Sbus to Sbus on FC
  2. Connect + to 5V on FC
  3. Connect - to G on FC
  4. Connect uninverted SPort (pad closest to 5v pad) to open TX on FC
  5. Set UART for SBUS to SerialTX
  6. Set UART for SPort to SmartPort (under telemetry in ports tab)
  7. Go to Configuration tab in BF
  8. Set SBUS as your protocol
  9. Turn on Telemetry
  10. Save this
  11. Go to CLI
  12. Type Set tlm_inverted = off
  13. Type Set tlm_halfduplex=on
  14. Type Save

Transmitter:

  1. Go to telemetry screen and click discover new...

For RSSI do the following:

  1. Go to CLI
  2. Type Set rssi_channel=16
  3. save
  4. Go to Receiver Tab
  5. Top right corner set it to channel 12
  6. click save
  7. log out of bf and log back in
  8. on setup screen you should see RSSI
