- Make sure that you have a micro sd card for your transmitter
- Click here to download OpenTX Companion Software v2.2.3 (Windows)
- Click here to download OpenTX Companion Software v2.2.3 (Mac)
- Click here to downlod the OpenTX Card Contents for v2.2.3
- Create a folder in your downloads folder called X9D+ and place the downloaded files inside that folder
- Extracted the Card Contents files and locate the folder called Sounds.
- Delete all the languages that you will not be using as these take up a large portion of the file space
- Once this is done, create a new folder in the X9D+ folder called Card_Contents and copy all the remaining files from the extracted folder to this one. (This will leave you an original working copy if you ever damage the files.
- Place your Micro-SD card into your PC and format it
- Copy the files from your new Card_Contents folder to your Micro-SD Card
- When you are done, safely eject the Micro-SD Card and insert it into your X9D+
- Turn on your X9D+ but pressing the two subtrim sticks inwards to the center (these are the two subtrim sticks under your controls - press them towards each other)
- While pressing them in towards each other, turn the X9D+ on.
- At this point, plug in your USB cable and launch your OpenTX Companion Software.
